Why should I pay for Porn?
Since the dawning of pornography on the Internet, there has been a never-ending clamour heard of "Free Porn". Now your mama always told you there's no such thing as a free lunch, and that's exactly the case with online porn.Chances are some of your earliest memories of the internet are pornography related. Be it hurriedly closing pop-ups on your mom's PC as she comes in the door, or stumbling across one of the earlier free porn BBS or TGPs. Likely one of the first things you do on a search engine is try out a few of your favourite terms to see what results you get - "Fuzzy Rug Munching", "MASSIVE labia with piercings"...that sort of thing, a bit like the old ritual of looking up 'Vagina' in the dictionary at school.
But that porn had to come from somewhere. Back in the day there were mostly magazine scans from old Hustlers, with big-haired ladies with even bigger muff. As the early porn sites realised, you can't survive long on 'borrowing' Mr. Flint's content, and frankly the new opportunities offered by the online market opened up more hardcore, and most of all Video.
But by now you're wondering why you should bother paying, as there's probably more content out there than you could ever watch even if you spent the remainder of your existence spanking yourself blind in front of the neon glow of your monitor. Well, here's a couple of reasons why I think that paying for Porn is the way to go. Briefly, they will be 'Morality', 'Time is Money', 'Ease of use' and 'The Future'
Morality
So. This one's not likely to pull many heartstrings, but it should be said all the same. Making and distributing quality porn costs money. By not paying for porn, you're essentially depriving a huge range of people of their incomes. Unlike Hollywood, where they'll prosecute you as soon as sneeze if they catch wind of your dodgy DVDrip, the Porn industry has in fact embraced free porn being out there in the hope that you may come to like it enough that you'll make a payment. It's almost like an honesty box. But, for the same reason you may have used Napster to build your mp3 collection, and don't mind buying that badly photocopied cam of a new movie off a nice asian gentleman downtown, this argument isn't likely to sway you much.
