As a relative newcomer to the Dating/Sex Personals market, Fling has risen rapidly in the 2 years since its launch. It has already hit an impressive mark of over 2.5 million profiles, and this puts it in the 'realistic' category for actually finding hookups.
Where many sites are just good for gathering pics from profiles, and getting slutty BBWs to cam with on Yahoo messenger, Fling actually succeeds in getting you local girls and couples for hookups. The latter is rather easier in my experience than the former, with the couples often not seeming so choosy, so if that's your game, then this is the site for you.
Unlike some of the other major players, they seem to be on top of one of the biggest problems with sex personals sites, which is spammers and fake profiles. They have not bulked out the site with fake girls who won't respond, and I didn't receive any contact from the usual bevy of potential Russian brides. You do find that quite a few of the hottest profiles are Cam girls, but frankly the add-on cams to this site really do have hot North American chicks, which is a thing in itself. There is nothing like the volume of Paysite spam that you see on the other big dating sites.
On the negative side, as this is real girls there is no such thing as a 'sure thing'. If they don't happen to like you, this won't guarantee you sex, but if your expectations are not too high it's hard not to find someone in your surrounding ZIPs who's up for some action. I find the paid cam profiles to be a disappointment when I hit them while actually looking for 'real' people,but you really can find real girls to video chat with here with a bit of perseverence.
Overall I think you'll find the value is good. For the higher priced membership you get better profile placement, which does actually result in people contacting you (provided you have some decent pics). 35 bucks a month is quite a bit less than you'd be spending if you were heading out to bars or clubs every night trying to pick up, and here you know the girls are looking for the same thing you are. I won't replace the usual methods entirely, but at this price, it's well worth adding a string to your bow. If nothing else you can have great fun getting people to send you nude pics, and doing video chat.
